We recently went camping and it was cold out. You have to vent camper to use heater, which we did.
I have 2 questions. 1: what is the LS or L5 code on display on heater, is it normal?
2: How do you use Fantastic fan with heater, or do you? It has push or pull switch, is 1 for heat and 1 for cool? What's the thermostatic switch do? What's a good setting?

Sorry, no help for the heater.
But for the fan, unless they change, you should have switch for in-off-out for fan direction and the other the the speed with off-1-2-3-4. Thermostatiq switch for me would be new, the switch that was there is a limit switch, so the fan would only engage when the cover is open wide enough.
And I would run the heater with vent or windows crack, but w/o the fan. But this is me.
I agree. Only crack your vent fan and a window. Don’t run the fan with the heater.

If your using electric heater you do not have yo vent camper.
@Mlconner - venting prevents condensation from breathing in an enclosed space as well as promoting air circulation. It is not for any electric heater concerns.

@Shanesaw the LS/L5 code on the heater means "Low Signal" from the remote thermostat. Just swap out the batteries on it.
