Ithaca New York Area Last Week of July

My wife is going to an apiculture meeting in Ithaca NY the first week of August and I am hoping to take our vacation the week before in the Finger Lake region. I would appreciate any suggestions for T@G camping. Long ways from NC and I don't want to make any bad decisions.

There are two lovely NY State Parks in Ithaca. You can't go wrong with either. Beautiful gorges and falls. Buttermilk Falls is also a short jaunt (walkable or bikeable) to Ithaca Brewing Company's tasting room (which is why I visited there). Unfortunately I'm less familiar with the rest of the Finger Lakes region...but there are tons of wineries if you like tasting tours.
