Hey guys I recently just got a 2020 Nucamp T@g Boondock trailer used. It does have a rebuilt title on it because it was stolen but since purchasing do these normally have a musty smell to them? I have gotten rid of the old mattress that was in there, I sprayed febreeze, cleaned it out, I put a moisture thing in and a Ozium to clean the air. It still smells weird every time I go in I have the door open and such but I get a headache from being in there. I do eventually want to replace the ceiling fan with the Maxx Fan Deluxe but any ideas how to get rid of smell?

Do you have some funk growing in the water tank?

I’m not sure, but today and tomorrow we are going to be airing it out and I can check. I’m having someone come over later this week to see if there’s dry rot or maybe mold or something.
I've had good results removing odors with white vinegar, including mildewed boat interiors and a car that had been owned by a heavy smoker. I wiped the interior surfaces with vinegar and then left a shallow pan of vinegar closed inside for a day or two. The vinegar odor dissipates quickly.
You might consider installing a PWM speed controller for the fan. It's a simpler and less expensive fix for the cyclone-like operation of the Fan-Tastic unit.
Do you have more of a history regarding how long it was missing? What was the condition when found? I ask because I have read that small trailers may be stolen to be used as meth labs.

I will try the vinegar and the camper from which I bought it from has a rebuilt title cause it was stolen (it wasn’t stolen from me). But I was just in it with one door open, the fan on 1 speed and I got a headache after being inside.
