I have a 2022 T@g Boondock 5, and I'm trying to discover what style of socket is installed for connecting portable solar panels. It appears to be SAE, but I'm hoping someone can give me the definitive answer. Thanks.

It's an SAE (also called Zamp) connector. I have a Renogy solar suitcase which comes with a solar connector. Had to buy an adapter to connect it to our TAG. Polarity was reversed so I reversed the polarity of the cable. Realized later that I could have either purchased a polarity converter or just reversed the connections at the battery instead of cutting and splicing the cable. Here's the link though I'm sure it's available elsewhere https://www.renogy.com/wiring-accessories/?sort=alphaasc&page=5

@ras is correct. After checking the polarity of the SAE connector. See if it is proper for your usage. Swapping the cables is very easy, although nuCamp was not over generous with cable lenght. They will fit without cutting or splicing. Another option is a cheap poliarity adapter. It is good to have one on hand anyways.
Since the SAE is a direct connection to the battery, it also can be used in charging the T@G battery with an external charger (normally not needed).
Good luck.

Here's that cable/adapter I'm using for the stand-alone solar panels. 10 ga. wire, ~two feet long, $13. Nice hardware. The polarity adapter clips to the cable.
