Remove head bumper cabinets on xl

Anyone done this or other suggestions, did attach felt pads, stupid engineering design.

    I have not bumped my head in my 2018 5-wide for sometime. Nothing too serious anyways.

    I use the cabinets all the time and can't think of a reason to remove them.

    6'2" and bald. I hit my head on everything, duck is not an animal. I like the little alcoves of pain no matter how many times I hit them. Very convenient for small items and only four concusions so far.
