Has anyone used their heater without the wall sensor? Thanks

The batteries can be removed from sensor. Heater will work just fine without, but you need to cover blinking code light with black electrical tape as heater is trying to link with sensor.

sensor is meant to be used in larger rooms than the space of out tag xl.

    there you have it.
