What is the purpose of the vent under the 2022 TAG Outback?

Exhaust for the air conditioner condenser plenum. Air enters through the "cowbells" on the sides of the trailer and is discharged through that vent. Air is also pulled from inside the camper. There are three small 12 VDC fans.

Thanks for the info.... I am in the process of making a cover for this vent to keep dust and water out while traveling and can be opened when need for the AC...

When on the road, dust can also enter the camper through the two cowbell air inlets. We stuff a balled up rag into each to prevent that.

I drive on a lot of gravel roads and have never seemed to have a problem with the bottom vent but I keep my cowbells plugged with a couple of sponges.
