Hello all. So we are about to head south for florida from Quebec with out T@G in mid august and Since we will be using some of the toll road along the way, I was womdering if the eezpass I got from NY state a few year back will allow me to us the eezpass lane with the trailer. The information Is not easy to find on this.
When I got the pass, I did not went for trailer specific, so I got one that was available at one of the service area. So will I need to keep using the cash line. Some of the info I got was that I could still use the eezpass. Now, would I need to add the trailer registration to my eezpass file?
If this matter, we will be mostly be using tye 87 and 95. We are on a crunch to get in Orlando on the third day of travel.
Thank you for you experience and knowledge.

Ok, Imgot my info, and basically, Since I will not be a regular user, not even one trip south a year, I just have to add my T@G plate number on my eezpass file.
I have had NY EZ pass for many years. It knows when I go through with a trailer and charges my account accordingly. Same in other states where we have traveled. I never gave any info except EZ pass's vehicle's plate number.
I use my PA EZPass towing my T@G all the time. The EZPass technology is built to count axles and charge you accordingly. EZPeazy! No fuss or anything required.

@rfuss928 and @SueBHunny thank you for that added piece of mind!
Same with the EX Tag in TX, just counts axles and charges accordingly. Does annoy me a little that the charge with the T@G is double the cost of a large truck with only 2 axles.
