What years/models of T@G have the outside shower/nozzle thingy?

I'm starting my search in earnest for a used T@G (5 ft wide model). I've got a dog and tend to get muddy, so one killer feature for me is the outside spray nozzle to hose off feet/dogs, etc. I was just wondering if I needed to limit my search to certain years or models if I want this.

What years/models of T@G have the outside shower/nozzle thingy?

Also 2017 outback 5 wide max here, and we have it and I love it!

I believe it was an option and depends how the trailer was ordered.

Wonder if it is not package with the Max package. Our was on the lot, so it was not an order for us.

I have one on my 2017 XL. I used to use it to refill my water tank in the trailer but it took way to long. Now I use the garden hose. That's much faster....

I think it's a former option that became standard in more recent models. I wish I had one on my 2015 5 wide T@G. But my solar shower bag will get me through until a someday upgrade,.

@cricketbird if you want a nice, relatively cheap alternative to the outside shower try one of these. I have one and they work great. Buy a Home Depot pail, fill it with water and you are good to go! Portable and rechargeable too. 👍🏻

I would also add that the outside shower has given some folks a less than satisfactory experience. Also, one more thing that needs attention with winterization/maintenance. I like the idea of a portable shower where you can keep the water away from the ground surrounding the trailer.

Thanks everyone! I'm in south FL, so doubt I will ever winterize anything. The battery-operated one looks great - I may need that T@G or no!

One of the reason I like the outside shower, is a lst minute rince just before going to bed. Even with an evening shower, last year (in august) when we were in florida, I would rince again just before gettting in bed, in the very cold ac air of the trailer. Was sleeping like a baby!

I like the portable showers too. I have heated water up, used a Trekker privy tent and was right at home with that set up and a small teak shower grate to stand on. 👍🏻😀

Kind of a dumb question, but how do you use the external shower? I've looked at the one on my 2018 T@G a few times, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get water to come out of it.

Of not on city water, you have to turn the pump on, then, you open the plastic nuzzle.

Btw, there is a valve under the sink that need to be open for water to reach the hose assembly.

Awesome, that did it! I figured I'd need to have the pump running for it to work, but I didn't realize the valve under the sink existed. Thanks!

https://www.nemoequipment.com/product/helio-shower/ this thing is an absolute essential piece of gear for us. fill it half way, let it sunbake, and you get 2 good showers. if its cold just heat up some water. it helps if you don't mind standing in public in your swimsuit when you take a shower

2017 was the first year it was introduced from what I remember, we haven't used ours as I tend to bring a "kiddie pool" with us for longer setups...perfect for cleaning the feet or cooling off!
