On my recent trip I had about 6-7 gallons of water in my tank. Went on some rough dirt roads which included fairly steep inclines both up and down. Also had a few good bumps where the trailer bounced. I keep kitchen towels right next to the tank in the cabinet, they were soaking wet. Is this normal? The only thing I can think is water sloshing in the tank, but how would it get into the cabinet? I could not tell if there was a leak and had no further problems when staying on smooth roads.

Could it have happened when you filled up? Maybe the fill hose leaked at the connection.

You can drive along 10,000 miles, and still stay where you are.
Possible..... there were water overflow marks below the fill area. Possible the water sloshed back up the fill hose and out?
What about the overflow hose, could the union be broken in the side wall? If the trailer bounced a lot, the plastic fiting could be broken, then the overflow line could have leaked inside.
I checked all fittings and could not find any loose or broken pieces. I will run water in the fill connection space and see if it leaks down the inside wall. I guess after that I will hook into the pressure fitting and see if any leaks appear anywhere. If not, I’ll just have to wait until I hit some more rough roads and see if it happens again.
I noticed some mysterious water under the sink in our T@G too -- soaked a couple of rolls of paper towels. We hadn't gone over very rough roads, but there were a couple of potholes at a primitive campground that might have tipped it. I'll keep an eye on it too.
