Ok. I’m bad with the electrical power consumption math. How long can I run a heater like this 800w before killing my battery by running too low to be able to recharge?

this is the battery I have.

if I am running anything else it is the refrig but it’s also likely cold so fridge isn’t using much power.

If I am correct.
- 1.5 hrs x 800 watts = 1200 usage watts / 12 volts = 100 amps.
- From a math standpoint you could run the heater for 1.5 hours before killing your battery.
- In reality you would get much less. I would not recommend your heating solution and instead look for a product that would not draw from your battery.
Without an impractically large battery bank, you just can't heat or cool an RV with battery power.

Thanks. Now I have to find my draft points. My camper seems to be quite drafty and let out all my heat.
