Thank you. I’m working on a deal to upgrade the suspension to outback/Boondock edition.....replace axle, fenders, brakes, 15” tires/rim. I’m hoping to get it done this winter during downtime at “authorized” nuCamp dealer.
Awesome!!! Make sure you take some time to take some photos and share it with the rest of the forum members as this is how we help others who share your same interest!
Says it’s cute the way it is. But we need additional ground clearance, so I just received the Dexter lift kit. This will give me about a 3” lift. Replaced my old tires with load range D, same size.
Ok, I am confused with the Dexter Lift Kit.
From what I can tell, it does raise the trailer frame up the 2-3 inches, but I fail to see how you gain any ground clearance of the trailer axle.
It seems to me that the kit places the axle in the near same position as it started as in relation to the ground.
It is the ground clearance of the axle that concerns me the most when I travel on rough dirt roads.
• Can someone enlighten me please?
Thanks
The lift will correct the spare tire. As far as the axle, you are correct, it will remain the same height. If I’m careful and watch my lines, I hope to be OK.
