Those towing with a pick up Truck will understand. Installed a jack-e-up for ground clearance also. While I was there installed a place to park my 7 pin connector when not towing—keeping it out of the weather
Somewhere I saw someone modify to operate with a drill and the standard jack drive.
It was on one of the bigger trailer sites. Costs, but electric jack was worth it on our 60s vintage Avion . Windy stormy wetness will make ya wonder.....

How far to the rear past the end of the trailer mount plate does the disc overhang? I'm curious if it will fit on my BDE with the aluminum tongue rack.

I just installed it on my 2018 boondock. Had to cut the lower rail on the aluminum rack which wasn’t fun but happy with the way it turned out. I was able to save the small top rail on the rack and still work the jack in & out of the jack-e-up bracket.
@dollydigital we had the same idea (independently) for our 2021 T@G. Since we didn’t want to always refer to it as ‘the Tardis’, we decided it was our companion and named it Amelia Pond or Amelia, informally.

That's what I was wondering with my 2020 Boondock. I saw the rail and was wondering if the Jack E Up would hit. Bummer. I don't think my wife would be to thrilled with me cutting way at that. With my new tongue jack coming, it will retract to 11 inches off of the ground. We don't plan on doing any serious off road, but I'm wondering if 11 inches is sufficient ground clearance per chance we encounter a curb, etc.
I just installed the Jack E Up on my 21 Boondock this weekend. I stared at it for a bit and didn't want to cut the lower aluminum bar if possible.....what to try? I used longer bolts to mount the disc and 1.25" "spacer" under the disc to just clear that bar. The spacers were actually connectors used with all thread rod.....so just normal nuts but 1.25" thick! It is solid and NO CUTTING! It may take a picture to understand, let me know if you'd like one.

What is the name/part number of the piece you added to the tongue to hold the connector? I haven't seen that before.
2016 T@G MAX named T@RDIS - its bigger on the inside!
I got it here: https://www.etrailer.com/s.aspx?qry=ACP7B
Thank you for sharing a great way to stow the connector!

works great for jeeps too because the stock trailer lift blocks me from opening the swinging back door on the jeep

Please provide a photo of the spacer under the disc. Thanks in advance.
Also, what size and length bolts did you use?
I am traveling for work at the moment, but will get to this when I get home later in the week.
