Everyone carries some tools
I noted an early 2018 thread regarding Pre-Trip Maintenance and Tools thanks to WilliamA.
I thought I would start a new discussion based around tools that I found useful and why.
Due to weight, size and other limitations, I bring along the minimum standard items like pliers, wrenches, vice grips, screw drivers, socket set, tape measure, etc. I already carry some tools in my tow vehicle.
Please feel free to add on your items to the thread.
Thanks

Add some zip ties, electrical tape, rope, duct tape, a couple tire plugs and you're ready for just about anything.
Some of what I carry is duplicated in the TV but you can never have too much or be too prepared to deal with those bumps in the road that always seem to happen at the worst time. Can't tell you how many times tire plugs have fixed a flat on the roadside without ever having to remove the wheel.

I'll add bungee cords, hatchet and or machete, string or para cord, waterproof matches, lighter, air pump, Ziploc bags, microfiber towels, medium tarp and a rope saw.
I keep a box cutter, road flares, & a couple of cheap emergency ponchos as well the stuff y'all listed above...**also keep 25' of 3/8 rope for a spare tarp or clothesline if needed
I have seen so many comments about the Hatch Turn Downs coming loose, that I pulled them off today and used Blue Loctite on the set screws..
Nice list of good ideas to put in our new TAG.
@sdchickos had the right turn down fall off 1st time out, reset & placed a small piece of duct tape under both & did the blue Loctite as well when we got home...
I made a lug wrench today with a spare 1/2" breaker bar I had and a Harbor Freight 3/4" 6 point deepwell socket. I also bought a rope/cable saw and a collapsible 2 gal bucket.
