Very odd. We had a Jack-it (still have it in my attic), and it lined up just fine on our Boondock. Is that a real Jack it or one you might have purchased online from Ebay/Amazon? Or perhaps your Tag is used, and someone modified the rack? The only reason it wouldn't line up would be if the holes were not cut properly or…
Hello... We just got our tag 2018 xl outback. Is the platform delete removing the front metal racks and just having the frame? I feel there is zero need for that as I'll never strap anything to it, extra weight, and frees up for a bike rack. Can you order the new box from nucamp?
We have the same dimensions on our garage and it just barely fits, but it fits. You have to go in really slow and adjust as you are going. The fenders hit the rubber flaps to the garage and the bike rack touches the top of the door but it works.
Once again outstanding work and ingenuity. About using a rear receiver, there are way too many horror stories about bike racks gone wrong using the the rear receiver, so I would guess a generator would be at just as much risk.
What @jms said, it is a great time to get your license. I also want to get a HF rig in my Jeep and adapt my screwdriver antenna to fit onto the bike rack. My mobile setup now is a little bulky... lol
I just bought a 2021 Boondock XL with less than 7500 miles on it. Extras they included were, Lock & Roll articulating hitch, galley wind wings, Jack it 2 bike rack, T@G trailer cover. I paid $19,000. And, it was 25 miles from my house!
Exterior: our trailer is a Boondock Lite, the previous owner had the dealer add a yakima rack, and the yakima awning. We added a second awning so there I one on both sides. The previous owner added a rotopax mount on the side. I bought a 2 gallon container so we have some of our good drinking water while we camp. We added…
I you only think of hitch capacity and togue weight, you can do it. But you have to be aware of what you store in front of the axle. If you goal is the have a generator on the togue, a bike rack and 2 bikes, a spare tire on the front A Frame, dual 6 volts golf cart batteries, etc, I do not think that you can do it. But you…
Our Rhino Batwing awning is by far the best mod we've made and it was the first. It was pricey and I had to have the brackets made shown below (I later painted them black with Rustoleum). We use our awning every trip and have camped in all sorts of weather as we camp all yearround. Here's my second write up: We also love…
I used a net form a bike rack & command clips I had floating around my shop Thanks For the Idea Edit after three or four warm days (Oct in CA)70s-mid 80s 7 of the command clips let go so I replaced all the clips with new ones they also fell off so for me the command clips are out
