I've just purchased a 2022 Tag Boondock, picking it up in Alberta next week. Just a couple of questions for the group, so I can better prepare. What size is the AC unit? 10000 BTU? I'm considering a genset, and wondering how big I'd need. It seems that a good quality 2000-2200 Watt inverter/generator would be sufficient. Thoughts? Also, what size is the propane quick-connect on the outside of the trailer? 1/4" is standard, so I assume that would be it. Has anybody had issues connecting a typical portable tabletop bbq to the system? I've heard there could be issues with propane pressure.
Thank you in advance.

Mine is a 5000 BTU and, while I haven't used the generator yet, I have a Honda 2200 and that would power the unit.

My AC for my 2018 standard 5-wide T@G has a Danby 5000 Btu/h 4.0A unit. I can power it with my Baja 700/900 watt propane generator.
My test on my AC showed that it pulled 454 watts when running on low. That matches well with the posted specs.
Thank you all for your replies. I'm going to jump on a 2500w Inverter/Generator, and trust it will do the job. I've read that start-up of the AC unit puts the biggest load on a generator, but there are ways to minimize that load.
Happy Camping, Everyone!
