Hey all!
I just scoured through the 2023 T@G owners manual but I couldn't find the info I was looking for. Maybe someone here might know?
First, does anyone know the power specs on the A/C and heater? I'm trying to calculate power usage but I can't find how much power these two devices consume.
Also, I found the following in the owners manual:
120V AC SHORE POWER
When connected to an external 120V outlet or generator via the 120V
shore power cord, your camper will be supplied with power. The electrical
system will be grounded via shore power if there is no open ground in the
supplying outlet or generator. The negative terminal on your battery serves
as a ground to your electrical system when shore power is disconnected.
The 120V electrical system provides power for:
• Air Conditioner (If equipped)
• Microwave
• Power Center/Converter
• 120V Receptacles
12V DC SYSTEM
When not connected to 120V AC shore power, the 12V system uses power
from the 12V (or dual 6V) battery(ies) onboard the camper and functions
much like the 12V system in your tow vehicle. When 120V AC shore power

is connected, current runs to the 12V power center via the converter and
provides power to the 12V appliances and features. The negative terminal
on your battery serves as a ground to your electrical system when shore
power is disconnected.
These components and appliances work off 12V power:
• Lights
• Water Pump
• TV (If equipped)
• Vent/Fan
• 12V Outlets
• Propane/CO Alarm
I noticed that the heater is not listed in either the 120V Shore Power section, or the 12V DC System section. Does anyone know which system the heater is mapped to?
Thanks in advance.
Comments
The heater runs via 120v.

I'm not sure what specific gear you've got, but if you've got the same Crane EE-6490 ceramic heater that I've got in my '21, it's rated for 800W (low) and 1200W (high) at 120VAC, according to the Crane owner's manual. The A/C unit is typically a 5000 btu unit (mine's a GE model AHTC05AA), which typically needs 450-500W at 120VAC. If your T@G is wired like mine, you've got both the heater and the air conditioner driven by the same 20-amp breaker #2 on the AC side of the power center.

I believe I'm using the same equipment as you are, so this is very helpful, and is exactly the information I was looking for.
Thank you.
You too, Sharon!
Update
NuCamp Tech Support finally got back to me. Here is what I have installed, along with the power consumption for each of the units:
-The King PX ECO2S Heater uses 750Watts
-The GE AHEC05 Air Conditioner uses 455 Watts
Just in case someone else winds up looking for this information.
Thanks again!
Found this thread because--just like you--I can't find the info I need about the heater in my 2023 T@G 5w Boondock. Is "King" the name of the manufacturer of the heater? Any chance you have the model number? I'd be so grateful!

Got your PM and I responded, JLH. Posting the files here as well for the community. Model # for the King heater is in the filenames and I'll edit my comment from August with the model # as well. Hope it helps!
HUGE help! Thanks so much aBiNeR!
I just added this info to the Owner Manual category as a future resource. If you want any more air conditioning manuals added, let me know.
