Got a new hitch today, I can't remember how high it rises up but the level I had sitting on the tongue it's pretty spot on, just a hair off, so I'm happy now with it. Maybe that'll help with towing, I don't really know though. I'm waiting until Feburary or March to possibly shop for a H6 10-14 Outback or a used half ton. Though I heard my dad's dakota might become available, I don't know what engine it has, plus it's red, I hate red vehicles and I don't know what it takes to get the paint changed.

We tow with a 2012 3.6 outback, no issues at all, hardly know the trailer is back there.

You can drive along 10,000 miles, and still stay where you are.
2.5 has less power to it, I'm kind of torn if I want to get something different. I could wait until closer to spring to decide.

From what I can see, most ball mount drop reversed will not equal it in rise. Usually it's less.
Yeup, since the drop is calculated on top of the plate, when turn down side up, the thcikness of the plate will make a difference.
