Set up at Huckleberry Campground on the St. Joe River east of St. Marie’s, ID. First trip with the Rhino Rack Sunseeker II awning, which proved to be a great addition to the camper.
Depends on how tall you are. I’m 5’9” and can stand up at the door without my head hitting the awning, but if you adjust the outside corner pole heights down to slope the awning to allow for rain runoff you might have to crouch down a bit at the far outer edge.
This is our first time out at Pontiac Lake Recreation Area in Oakland County Michigan. We have been through several heavy thunderstorms in a tent will strong winds. Being in the T@G during the thunderstorm we encountered on this trip was less stressful to say the least. Kept warm and dry.
late to the party...have had our "cutie" since last April...been out to 2 rallies so far, UCamp 17 and Branson, MO...she's travelled well from Ontario Canada for both events, just put her away for our winter, but she's already booked for 2 rallies in May! WHOOP, WHOOP! "Bowser's Bed & Bre@kf@st" with new shades in MO.!

preparing for camping trip over thanksgiving.
bummer, the safety chains would not attached to the hitch, so I had to buy an bigger S chain link.

Good looking canopy setting on the back of your trailer!
Thanks! We bought the Coleman Mountain View 12 x 12 Screendome Shelter after our last couple of experiences in the rain with the T@G. It is a bit of a learning curve setting it up; but, between the two of us it works out well. We are happy with it! It worked out real nice cooking and have a dry place to sit outside while it was raining (again)!
Now that winter is upon us I thought I would share some photos from our late October camp at Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. (Please note that all wildlife photos were taken from safe distances.)
@Brian, the turkeys in your photos are hen turkeys since neither has a beard. A known fact—females can have beards, but Tom turkeys do have beards.
Now who would have such knowledge?.......
Next spring will be the 5th year my brother and I have hunted for the elusive gobbler (mature Tom turkey over 3 years old) or a Jake turkey (adolescent Tom turkey under 3 years old with all of the hormone problems of an adolescent human male!).
It’s a great way to spend time with my brother and to be in the woods. We both enjoy the outdoors and one of these days we will each get a Spring Turkey.
@Verna, you are exactly right, the turkeys in this photo are hens. The toms were around, but more elusive (as you well know). Although I personally prefer to hunt with a camera – no worries about seasons then – I wish you every success this spring.

I've always told Verna it is a lot cheaper and requires less effort to just buy your turkey at the store. No missed sleep, you are always toasty warm and you are actually able to taste the turkey after a short time in the oven!

Some very nice looking camps! I do like the awning and can you sand up fully beneath it?
Gotta love fall camping as it's the best time of the year and beautiful!

@Ericmooreco, Nice setup, my chains just fit the hitch and sometimes fight me when taking them off, but not enough to worry about.
