Maiden adventure with our new to us 2017 T@G. Went to Ponca, Arkansas to enjoy the mountains and elk watch. Camped at the only full hookup campground in the area, beautiful views but no trees! Best bathhouse I've ever seen tho!! You'll see all the big rigs and tiny us with the red canopy!! Still trying to figure out what the Little Guy's name is. From towing to teardown, everything went perfectly! Now I'm ready to go again!!

Recently went to Lone Rock and Zion. Had a good time, not too cold. Mid 70s during the day and mid 50s at night. Had fun kayaking and hiking. Took lots of photos. -
No problems with getting stuck in the sand at Lone Rock, used 4 wheel drive of my Rav4. Saw four others get stuck. Used 100 watt Renogy solar suitcase and had no problems with power. -

Watchman Loop A, site #5. Near bathroom, but not too close. Near parking lot, but noy an issue. Easy walk across a bridge for shower, brew pub and free shuttle. Electric hookup but no water at any site.
Showers are just outside of the park (Zion Outfitters), just a short walk from Loop A. 1 Token = 5 Minutes. Open 7:00-11:00PM (Tokens at Zion Outfitters (7:00-8:00PM) Sorry, did not ask the cost of a token, but assume maybe $4. When you leave the park from the bridge at the Zion Park Fee Collection Office, they will want to see some proof of prior payment when you return. We talked our way through when we forgot. They also seem to close the collection office around 7:00PM. The yellow marker on the map below Zion Outfitters is Zion Canyon Brewpub (aka Zion Canyon Brewing Company). Good food and beer. Prices ok. Can sit outside and enjoy the views. The best time for the free tram is early morning or late afternoon. Otherwise you will wait in a fast moving line, but still can take up to 40 minutes to board. If you arrive to he area via HWY15 then you will pass through Hurricane, which is around 22 miles from Springdale UT. They have a Walmart superstore in Hurricane, so it is a good place to get supplies. If you find the need the State run Liquor Store is in Springdale. About a 2.5 mile drive from Loop A. (Switchback Liquor Store · 1149 Zion Park Blvd · (435) 772-3700 ext. 104 · Open ⋅ Closes 9PM) Price for items is fine. I believe the state sets the price throughout the state. -
