We have a 2017 TAG Max XL. We have about 20,000 miles on it. We are in Scott’s Bluff Nebraska right now about 1/6 of the way through a 6 week journey. We have developed a serious leak around both doors. If you have been following the weather, you can understand why sleeping in a water logged trailer for 5 weeks in this part of the country now is putting a serious hurt on our vacation.
We have been through some horrific weather so far but everything was dry inside throughout it all. But we drove over a literal tank trap in the parking lot of Wendy’s in McCook Kansas which almost shook our teeth out. We then drove through snow/rain/fog/sleet to here. When we opened up our trailer, you could do the backstroke inside. Were the two events related? Who knows but I am never eating at Wendy’s again.
I cannot find the leak source for sure but the gap between the door flange and the weatherstripping seems to be greater at the top of both doors than on the sides.
Could someone with a similar model see if they have the same gap difference on the top versus the sides on the door? The caulk around the window on the door is cracked but I don’t see that as a major leak source. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
So far, we have lost a stabilizer leg to a highly crowned road in New Mexico, lost the caulk seal around the fan in a hail storm in Mississippi and had to replace the converter. This may seem extreme but that is life on the road. We love our TAG but am beginning to wonder if it can really take what the Wendy’s of the world can dish out.

Not to be "that guy" but this HAS been done and discussed....did you try a site search?
I did. Either I am bad at search-fu, or the search function is bad. I never found it. Thank you for the snark and the link. Oh wait, thank you Sharon_is_SAM for the link. My bad.
I started with 100ah, worked great for weekend trips, anything to much linger and you'd need solar or shore power. Fit nicely in the front, didn't change the weight much, was a pretty simple upgrade.
Then it broke and I had to send it back for warranty repair. When they shipped me a replacement back I got 2 100ah batteries, and then the next day I received 2 more.
My wife said "let's install all of them!" Which counted as permission as far as I was concerned.
It was a bit more of a project than just swapping out the lead acid battery... But I now have an absolutely excessive 5kwh of batteries in the t@g, 4x100ah batteries.
Shore power is optional for us now**, if we are staying somewhere more than a week we'll put up the solar suitcases.
**the stock charger that won't charge the lithium batteries up all the way anyhow.
6'2" and bald. I hit my head on everything, duck is not an animal. I like the little alcoves of pain no matter how many times I hit them. Very convenient for small items and only four concusions so far.
Here ya go:
And my personal favorite. I made this one as a lark when I got my LG5W and put them on for fun. I put this one on when I got the T@G just because of the tongue-in-cheek humor. It has given me no end of fun on there. You'd be surprised at how many folks I've had ask me if I can really make a living at that. Too funny. I need to get another one printed. This one is starting to get long in the tooth.

Can’t find height in any of the videos. Help please
What is the exterior width of the 5 wide Tag from side panel to side panel excluding the wheel bumpers?
Interesting....My SO and I just had this conversation this morning. "Love to go, but there's the bday party, cat bath, compost dumping, yard cleanup, booger sorting, National Geographic special...." And on....and on.....
I don't allow my family units to restrict my outings. It's entirely up to them whether they want to go (usually they don't) so my camping is a simple matter of asking, then packing based upon their response. I'm going......With or without....
Or you could always just wait until you're younger.......

Ending 9th day.
Leaving Senator Wash heading to Picacho State Recreation Area. (Meet up with friends).
Current battery SOC 73.1%
With this heat (100°+) and Norcold set to 31° extendended stay would start to have issues.
Picacho will be slightly warmer with partly cloudy weather.
I should make it until Sunday and have fun.
Road into Picacho may be rough, so repacking needs to take that into account. Leaving around 5:30am, so next post should be from the next location (cell coverage will be worse).
Car says temp here is 105°.
Brain says hey, have a cold beer.
Thank you everyone. The dealer, Road Trip Campers in Orange Va. fixed me up with the proper hitch and ball. I was nervous to drive the 70 miles home but it went well. I’ll need to practice backing up.
